Excellent communication skills; written, verbal and listening. Basic Accounting skills. Computer skills in Word processing, spreadsheet, database and graphics. Excellent business telephone techniques. Maintain files and correspondence. Have a working knowledge of the Tribal Council organization, documents that govern the reservation structure; the structure of Tribal Council, Committees and boards/enterprises. Knowledge of committee schedule, prepare accurate summaries for assigned committees and follow up on meetings and other activities. Payroll process promptly and accounting paperwork is accurate. Perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature to assist in other areas where staffing shortages exist. Maintain confidentiality.
Requirements
Must submit and pass a criminal background check with Tribal, Federal and State Law Enforcement. Incumbannt must also submit and pass a pre-employment alcohol/drug screening.
