Job Description

Location: Hybrid Las Vegas NV (34 days onsite/week)

Salary Range: $100000.00 $120000.00 plus 6% bonus

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • 35 years of experience in industrial and/or equipment manufacturing cost accounting
  • High integrity and sound judgment ensuring appropriate decisionmaking
  • An accounting certification (ie CPA CMA CFE) is a plus

About the Role

The Factory Controller is a new role in the Las Vegas factory location and will be responsible for the analysis and control of both direct and indirect expenses. They will be the sole member of accounting in Las Vegas and will be counted on to ensure management of investments and operational costs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure reliability and accuracy of inventory accounting and operating costs for the factory.
  • Assist departments in analyzing cost of goods sold identifying improvement opportunities and prioritizing corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with operations to develop and monitor the strategic investment plan (ROI).
  • Research develop and maintain effective controls to minimize operational business risks.
  • Develop financial forecasts and manage the budgeting process for the factory.
  • Identify operational improvement opportunities and enhance business process efficiencies.
  • Analyze operating cost performance indicators.
  • Contribute to operational decisionmaking with the operations management team.
  • Participate actively in the inventory management committee.
  • Evaluate the profitability of products clients and sectors and assess project impacts.
  • Assist in preparing operational budgets and audit files.

Requirements

  • Strong ERP experience (SAP is a major plus)
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite particularly Word PowerPoint and PowerBI
  • Ability to adapt flexibility and versatility in a rapidly growing environment.
  • Resultsoriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Analytical and curious with willingness to find solutions.
  • Teamplayer with excellent communication skills while performing with autonomy.
  • Ability and urgency to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to handle and effectively manage stressful situations.
