Job Description
San Francisco bsed educational sevices institution hiring for a part time Senior Accountant (25 hours) Position is fulltime, in office and an opporunity to join a high impact team of 4. Hourly compensation is 40-45/hour + benefits. Position has free parking and is public transit.
Position Summary
Position Summary
- Prepare general ledger entries, including payroll journal entries.
- Record financial data for deferrals, accruals, and reclassifications.
- Perform monthly and annual processes.
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Post journal entries in the accounting system
- Report and analyze fluctuations and variances.
Requirements for this position include:
- 3+ years of experience working as a Senior GL Accountant
- Accounting Degree preferred
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and experience with automated accounting systems.
- Proficiency in Blackbaud Financial Edge highly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools - Excel-Pivot tables, Vlookups
- Ability to work in office full time
