Looking for a Senior Project Manager with hands-on experience leading executives to reach a consensus and producing the outputs for a Phase 0/Discovery effort.

Project Management experience/functional exposure needed for other projects:

Led contract management, master data management, service transition, or technology workstreams/projects

Stakeholder management legal, commercial, supply chain

Prior experience leading other projects would be beneficial

Below is a brief description of the PM needs (the project is confidential, so there is not a lot of information to share).

Discovery work / Phase 0 from now through the end of December

o Drive the team to understand and develop high level requirements, schedule and high level cost estimate for budget planning

We are looking for an experienced Non-IT Project Manager to play a pivotal role in planning, executing, and closing out projects within our organization. This role is instrumental in ensuring that projects related to discovery, Phase 0, contract management, master data management, and stakeholder management are delivered successfully, meeting objectives and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Initiation:
   • Define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
   • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and budgets.
   • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and objectives.

1. Discovery and Phase 0:
   • Oversee the initial discovery phase, gathering and analyzing project requirements.
   • Conduct feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost-benefit analyses during Phase 0.
   • Ensure alignment between project initiation and execution.

1. Contract Management:
   • Manage contracts, agreements, and procurement processes related to project needs.
   • Ensure adherence to contract terms and monitor vendor performance.
   • Mitigate risks associated with contracts and legal obligations.

1. Master Data Management:
   • Develop and implement strategies for data governance and master data management.
   • Oversee data quality, consistency, and integrity across the organization.
   • Collaborate with relevant teams to define data standards and best practices.

1. Stakeholder Management:
   • Identify project stakeholders and their roles.
   • Develop and execute communication and engagement plans.
   • Foster positive relationships with stakeholders, addressing concerns and issues proactively.

1. Project Execution and Monitoring:
   • Lead project teams and manage resources effectively.
   • Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and take corrective actions.
   • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

1. Risk Management:
   • Identify and assess project risks and develop risk mitigation strategies.
   • Create and maintain a risk register to track potential issues.

1. Quality Assurance:
   • Establish and maintain quality standards for project deliverables.
   • Perform quality reviews and audits to ensure compliance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
• Proven experience as a Non-IT Project Manager, with a track record of successfully managing projects related to discovery, Phase 0, contract management, master data management, and stakeholder management.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
