Position: Logistics Engineer

Job Description:-
Technical/Functional Skills-
Experience: 4+ Years

Logistics, Supply Chain, Warehouse, PFEP, Material flow

Support/Lead capacity optimization across multiple logistic warehouse sites

Assessment of parts to storage facility assignment as related to overall capacity information, inventory transfer & rearrangement planning

Experience with Plan for Every Part (PFEP) and Material replenishment.

Creation and updates of facility layouts, manufacturing Point-Of-Use design (POU) and warehouse storage design.

Material flow Analysis from Dock to POU.

Parts line side presentation, Rack/ Floor/ Kit parts Analysis, Material Replenishment strategy development.

Work Material planners on Material shortages/ Line downs/ Hot trucking to minimize down time.

Process changes that drive overall labor cost reduction while maintaining safety and quality standards for the organization.

Recommend and create purchase orders for new/replacement equipment needed to support operation; machinery & equipment design / procurement.

Perform assigned special projects as requested based on organization needs.
