Teacher of Maths

As a Teacher of Maths, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment for students. You will deliver high-quality lessons, using a variety of teaching methods to cater to the diverse learning needs of our students. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to the development of the Maths curriculum, ensuring that it is aligned with the school's values and objectives.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities And Tasks
Plan, prepare, and deliver Mathematics lessons that align with the national curriculum and meet the needs of individual students.
Use a variety of teaching methods, such as lectures, group work, and practical experiments, to engage students and support their learning.
Monitor and evaluate student progress through regular assessments, homework assignments, and tests.
Provide feedback to students and parents on their academic progress, including identifying areas for improvement and strategies for success.
Use technology and other resources to enhance the learning experience for students.
Participate in extracurricular activities, such as math Olympiads, clubs, science fairs, and field trips, to further engage and inspire students.
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to develop and implement school-wide programs and initiatives.

Requirements

The Successful Candidate Will Possess
Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
Teaching certification or qualification (e.g. PGCE, QTS).
Prior experience teaching Science to school students.
Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and assessment methods.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
