Parenting Coordinator

Tasks

The Parenting Co-ordinator will work within Family Hubs, managed directly by the Family Hubs Transformation Manager with links to the Parent Engagement Manager and Parent Engagement Facilitator. A key role will be implementing and coordinating Parenting/Home Learning Environment Support across Family Hubs to raise standards and improve outcomes for children and young people.

The role of the Parenting Co-ordinator will contribute to the achievement of local strategic outcomes and work closely with the Family Hus Strategic Commissioner to strengthen the capacity, deploy skilled staff more effectively, and commission according to need.

Requirements

There is also a requirement to provide the role of parenting expert, which is a role that combines quality assurance, consultation with practitioners and delivery of evidence-based parenting/Home Learning Environment programmes.
