Physician - Cardiologist

Vivo HealthStaff is actively recruiting a dedicated Cardiology Physician. The candidate will join a dynamic cardiology practice with a strong focus on preventive care and robust in-house diagnostic testing capabilities.

Position: Cardiology Physician

Location and Practice Details:

• Pasadena, CA area
• Engaging cardiology practice with a pronounced emphasis on preventive care.
• Extensive in-house diagnostic testing, including echo, stress echo, treadmill testing, and nuclear imaging.
• Supported by robust, collaborative front and back office teams.

Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive cardiovascular care to patients in both the outpatient clinic and inpatient settings, including noninvasive cardiac testing and cardiac stress testing.
• Perform and interpret vascular studies, ECG, and ambulatory ECG reporting.
• Engage as an integral part of the Medical Group and clinical team, providing coverage, working with case management, and collaborating with specialists and allied health professionals to enhance health outcomes.
• Participate in marketing outreach and engage in staff and patient education programs as directed by medical group leadership.
• Engage in performance and quality improvement activities as requested.
• Assist in updating protocols and principles of practice as requested.
• Supervise Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners as assigned.
• Provide weekday and weekend call coverage.
• Perform all other duties as directed by management.

Educational and Professional Experience:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine with a fellowship in Cardiology.
• Active medical license in California.
• Current DEA License.
• Additional credentials as required by specialty.
