Deputy Nurse Manager Job Opportunity at FindMedic
Position: Deputy Nurse Manager
Salary: Up to 52,000
Hours per week: 40 - 44
Shift Times: 22 Long Day on the floor, 3 Days supernumerary.

About the Nursing Home:
Located in Berkshire, our clients warm and friendly 50-bed nursing home is designed to cater to a diverse range of needs. At Home, we are committed to offering exceptional residential and nursing care for the elderly frail, as well as providing specialized support for individuals coping with dementia. Our services extend to long-term care, post-operative nursing care, and respite stays.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Deputy Nurse Manager, your role within the Nursing Home will involve:
- Managing nursing services in collaboration with the Home Manager
- Upholding and promoting high standards of nursing care
- Ensuring effective onboarding of new nursing staff and providing ongoing clinical supervision for trained personnel
- Adhering to NMC and CQC standards, as well as internal policies and procedures
- Planning, directing, and delivering person-centered care through comprehensive care planning
- Overseeing all aspects of medicine management to ensure proper receipt, storage, and administration of medications
- Conducting staff reviews through supervision, appraisals, and team meetings
- Playing an active role in training the nursing team to keep them updated on current practices and developments in the field
- Maintaining accurate and relevant documentation and reports to reflect best practices and planned improvements
Requirements
Requirements:
To be considered for the Deputy Nurse Manager role at FindMedic, you must possess:
A Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN/RMN)
An active NMC PIN
A clear DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
A strong working knowledge of CQC regulations
A proven track record of leadership in a nursing team and the delivery of person-centered care, including care planning
