Role Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and committed People Operations Officer, responsible for engaging with and supporting our excellent warehouse staff and team of drivers as the first port of call for all questions and concerns.

This is an incredible opportunity to lay the groundwork for for our drivers and warehouse staff, supporting our growing team to feel consistently engaged, motivated, and appreciated. The ideal candidate has 1-2 years of People Operations or HR experience in an operational business working with large numbers of employees. They will need to bring a positive and friendly attitude and have a high propensity to learn and develop. They will also need to be flexible on working hours, comfortable working evenings and weekends as required to ensure there is the necessary contact time with all shift patterns.

All Operations roles at HIVED are in-person and primarily based at our depot in Woolwich.

Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve all inbound driver and warehouse staff queries, and escalate queries requiring specialist or team support
• Identify opportunities for improvement in our People Operations processes
• Work with the wider People Operations team to understand the long-term strategy of the business and support on execution
• Run proactive driver engagement initiatives to ensure that HIVED is the best delivery company employer in London
