5D Recruitment is proud to be working exclusively and in partnership with a leading engineering company based in the heart of the home counties. Employing nearly 50 people they design manufacture assemble test and ship bespoke machinery from their new worldclass facility.

They are market leaders in the concept design and manufacture of fully automated high precision bespoke machines which are used to complete complex functions required to guarantee the quality of the product. Working across a variety of industries their main markets include the medical and scientific sectors.

They have longstanding agreements with some of the most renowned manufacturers in their sector with a growing order book combined with an excellent pipeline the future is looking exciting.

This opportunity has arisen due to growth and we are looking to recruit multiple electrical fitters / control panel wirers to meet the requirements of their new and existing customers and projects building bespoke machinery from the ground up including machine wiring and control panel wiring.

Requirements

What the Role Will Involve:

• Building a bespoke machine electrically from the ground up.
  
• Wiring up the panel from schematics and wiring diagrams.
  
• Machine wiring including instrumentation robotic systems HMI s camera systems motors pumps etc.
  
• Working with the engineering team throughout the build and test phase.
  

What we are Looking in a Candidate:

• Timeserved electrical engineering background.
  
• Experience of building and wiring machines or building electrical systems.
  
• Can read engineering drawings including schematics layout drawings etc.
  
• Ideally experience in panel building / wiring however they are happy to train in this part of the role.
