Overhead Crane Field Service Technician Assistant

Pay: $18-25/hr.

Hours: Monday- Friday 8AM-4:30PM

Job Description:

The technician assistant is required to perform all, or a combination of the following essential functions as determined by business necessity. Assist the Overhead Crane Field Service Technician in troubleshooting, repairing, inspecting, and upgrading of industrial hoists and cranes in the field at customer locations. Assist the Overhead Crane Field Service Technician in OSHA required crane and hoist inspections and generate inspection reports via company-issued iPads. Assist in the inspection, repair, and load test of different styles of hoists. Other duties assigned by supervisor or technicians.

Requirements:

Experience with AC and DC electromechanical and solid-state motor control systems knowledge. Must have experience in 3 phase power, control voltage, radio controls, and VFDs.  Experience in industrial electric motor and control experience is a plus. A valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
