Engineering Product Manager

Salary Range:

$110,000.00 - $165,000.00

Requirements:

BSME, BSEE or MSME degree

5-15 years of experience with engineering in a team environment

Our client offers engineering design solutions for the development of new tools, components, or machinery. They cater to various divisions within our client as well as external third-party businesses.

About the Role

 Give mechanical engineering direction and expertise to support the development of products for the company.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for applying structural and/or mechanical engineering expertise to product line development.
• Collaborates within the new product development process to support various tasks, including creating new products, improving existing ones, cost reduction efforts, and addressing product issues.
• Commits to meeting engineering project timelines and staying within the budget.
• Contributes to the creation of accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs), drawings, schematics, and "systems" for assigned projects.
• Facilitates communication between different processes, teams, departments, and management levels as needed.
• Executes tasks and provides status updates to other departments and upper management as necessary.
• Participates in both internal and external meetings with customers and suppliers to ensure project goals are met.
• Takes on new tasks or projects as required by the current business needs.

Candidate Requirements

• BSME, BSEE or MSME degree
• 5-15 years of experience with engineering in a team environment
• Commercial vehicle engineering and/or construction experience a plus
• Product assembly and/or hands-on manufacturing experience desireable
