Support sales and marketing initiatives, programs and goals through telephone, fax, direct mail and email efforts with assigned or unassigned territories.
Responsibilities of a Product Support Specialist are to promote product awareness, establish and maintain relationships and educate physicians along with key customers on Palmetto s products. Our Product Support Specialists are responsible for continued communication with key customers including physicians, nurses, medical assistants and pharmacists to ensure:
- Product awareness
- Product education
- Product availability
- Increased prescribers of Palmetto products
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Major responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Contact physician base provided by Palmetto to educate on and promote Palmetto products.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key contacts in physician offices.
- Manage regular call rotation.
- Record and maintain customer database including demographics, literature mailings, and office infrastructure.
- Research physician base as necessary to gain contact information.
- Respond to incoming calls, emails and voice messages.
- Participate in product training to gain product proficiency.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent related experience (required)
- Customer service / sales experience (recommended)
