Our client, a Commercial Real Estate industry-leader with multiple verticals including title, cost segregation, due diligence, & 1031 exchange services seeks an ambitious Business Development Representative to join their collaborative team in Dallas.
This is a rare opportunity for a leasing or investment sales broker to leverage their industry knowledge & sales expertise in a lucrative commercial real estate (CRE) focused sales role, working under the guidance of a highly-skilled sales leader, while collaborating with a strong team of colleagues across the other lines of business.
The Business DevelopmentRepresentative is primarily responsible for generating new business through outbound prospecting and networking, and building relationships face-to-face. The ideal candidate is a driven hunter of new business, and farmer of long term relationships they possess outstanding interpersonal skills, and are detail-oriented.
The Dallas office is highly productive & collaborative, and back to working in-house full-time.
A day in the life of a successful Business Development Representative includes, but is not limited to:
- Procuring and maintaining new business through prospecting and networking
- Scheduling in-person meetings with prospective clients
- Proactively working with clients and staff to ensure deal flows smoothly
- Attending industry conferences, trade shows, & other networking events to expand prospect base
- Following up on leads from company seminars and marketing initiatives
Requirements
The ideal Business Development Representative candidate possesses the following skills & experience:
- 5+ years of progressively more successful CRE investment sales or leasing experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skill, with an emphasis on conversational CRE terminology and concepts
- Strong interpersonal skills, including creating and fostering long-term client relationships
- Intrinsically self-motivated, and able to work successfully in a team environment
