JOB SUMMARY
The Video Director serves as the leader over all aspects of live and broadcast video production
during weekend services, as well as during weekly tasks that result in an excellent weekend
experience. This position is responsible for all video team volunteers - both in and out of the
weekend service - and intentionally trains and oversees all volunteers to ensure a healthy team
environment with a high output. This position is responsible for the routine maintenance and
upkeep of all technical equipment, as well as ongoing strategy development and implementation
of future techniques in live video production. This position requires a qualified individual with
competencies in video production, live video switching, live camera operation, computer
graphics, and video systems engineering.

PRIMARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Serve as the lead Video Director, responsible for all aspects of live video production for all BRAVE Church campuses, including but not limited to cameras, video switching, and computer graphics
- Lead, train, and develop production staff and volunteers in all areas of live video production
- Ensure the successful execution of weekend services through routine training and systems upkeep
SECONDARY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Schedule and communicate with weekend video team volunteers, including but not limited to camera operators, volunteer video directors, and computer graphics operators
- Routinely train, develop, and onboard video volunteers for all campuses to ensure a high technical knowledge and weekend operational capability
- Oversee all video direction on the weekend including cameras, computer graphics, and videos
- Lead and perform routine maintenance on video equipment, including both software and hardware
- Collaborate with the Director of Production in the development and implementation of ongoing strategies for live video production in weekend services
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS- Ability to work with a team guided by biblical truth
- Ability to tell an intentional story through live video production
- Prior engineering experience with live video switchers and systems required
- Experience and working knowledge of video production software (ProPresenter,Resolume, Davinci Resolve, Adobe Suite) is a plus
- Cinema and Broadcast Camera Experience
- Ability to teach and train volunteers, and create a cohesive vision among the team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work on and manage multiple projects simultaneously
QUALIFICATIONS- A disciple who is passionate about advancing the gospel and sold out for the mission of BRAVE Church (kingdom-minded)
- Formal training or technical degree with certification; or equivalent combination of education and experience (typically 4+ years preferred)
- Experience in a variety of production environments and venues (live, studio, and post)
- Open to working an irregular schedule, including evenings and weekends, and providing on-call support and assistance outside of normal hours
- Dedicated to excellence, detail-minded, and able to perform complex tasks with exactitude (excellence in all you do)
- Able to prioritize tasks to support the vision and mission of BRAVE Church
- Able to work and operate independently with minimal supervision and/or instruction
- Leader of people; individuals, teams, staff and volunteers combined
- Advanced knowledge and ability to operate and troubleshoot technical equipment
- Multi-site church production experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects and meet tight deadlines

- Excellent administrative, managerial, organizational, and leadership skills with exceptional interpersonal competencies
