Job Description
We are currently seeking dedicated Aircraft Mechanics to join a team developing the latest generation of business aircraft in Little Rock, AK. This technician will helpcarry out the installation, verification, testing, modification, troubleshooting, and inspectingof various elements relating to aircraftpiping, fuel oil, hydraulic, air conditioning, fire and water systems. Interested candidates should have the ability to proficiently operate and understand a wide variety of test equipment and tooling. Candidates must be able to interpret technical manuals and engineering data to support various operations.One month on-site training period will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Installation and removalof elements relating topiping, fuel oil, hydraulic, air conditioning, fire and water systems.
- Perform system and function checkouts of components (static checks, hydraulic function checks, flight control rigging, fuel system checks and oxygen, ect.) per appropriate approved maintenance procedures or FAA requirements.
- Attention to the smallest detail or component and ensure every little part is inspected, installed and function test to approved procedures.
- Complete assigned work, including troubleshooting and repairs of malfunctioning systems in a safe manner in accordance with OSHA and company safety procedures within established schedule.
- Accurately log on Labor Data Collection System for work orders and attendance tracking.
- Read and interpret aircraft plans as provided.
- Tasks related to aircraft storage.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
- Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) certificate with 2 years of experience or no A&P with 4 years of experience as an aircraft mechanic.
- Proficient with using hand tools and precision equipment.
- Capable of reading and interpreting approved aircraft diagrams, charts, schematics and maintenance procedures.
- Able to work on maintenance stands, lifts and ladders, work in confined spaces in unusual positions
- Able to lift minimum 50lbs and able to enter and exit the aircraft using steps and/or stairs.
- Must not be allergic to jet fuel, oils, hydraulic fluids or cleaning solvents.
3+ years experience of OEM integration work. Skilled at creating and reviewing technical schematics, logical and functional diagrams, and engineering specifications. Previous experience with aircraft systems. Working knowledge of 2X.1309 analyses and processes, including Advisory Circular 23.1309-1E, SAE ARP 4761, and SAE ARP 4754A. Working knowledge of DO-160G environmental qualification. Basic knowledge of FAA regulations and guidance material and industry standards. Bachelor of Science in Engineering required; Electrical, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering preferred. Desired Working knowledge of avionics and related equipment, technical standard orders, and minimum performance standards. Working knowledge of DO-178C and DO-254 processes and aviation database management. Previous experience managing complex sets of requirements. Previous experience preparing and presenting design reviews for complex, highly integrated systems. Previous experience defining system controls, crew indications, and flight manual procedures Previous experience in testing, including instrumenting, data acquisition, and documenting and analyzing results. Whole-aircraft FAA certification program experience, Part 23 or Part 27 preferred. Experience and involvement with industry groups to develop consensus standards. 5+ years of relevant industry experience. Private pilot certificate or higher. Familiar with Dassault Syst mes engineering and management tools.
