Pay: $20-22/hr.

Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM

Job Description:

Knowledge of Diesel and Gasoline engines, Air Brakes, AC, and Hydraulic Systems required. Repairing and maintaining truck tractors, pick-ups, trailers, tractors, mowers, loaders, and other mechanical equipment. Performs vehicle or equipment services such as, but not limited to, oil changes, lubrication, tire repair, checking fluid levels, servicing batteries, and inspecting and/or repairing hoses, belts, lights, exhaust systems, etc. Maintains standard shop records, etc.

Required Knowledge and Abilities:

Knowledge of the standard practices, methods, tools, and equipment of the automotive mechanic's trade. Knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, Air Brakes, AC, and Hydraulic Systems required. Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety precautions of the automotive mechanic's trade. Abilities Ability to use and care for tools and equipment used in the maintenance and repair of trucks and equipment. Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds. - Candidate must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record (Class A license a plus) - Mechanical aptitude is a must - Any Welding skills are a plus. Skid Steer or "Bobcat" experience is a plus. Air Brake Certified a plus.
