Role Profile: Business Analyst

• Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
• Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
• Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
• Provide a suite of Customer KPI reporting via business reporting tools such a Tableau and Microsoft Power BI
• Delivery of Internal KPI reporting liaising with Finance and Operations
• Provide on a minimum weekly basis benchmarking of all MTR trade in buy and sell pricing vs competition.
• Trend analysis of buy and sell pricing on weekly, monthly and annual basis
• Working with Purchasing team to create a database of supplier pricing.
• Analysis of device returns costs and recommendations for improvements in policy and processing
• Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
• Performing requirements analysis.
• Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
• Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
• Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
• Working closely with customers, operations and technical team and MTR Management.
• Allocating resources and maintaining cost efficiency.
• Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements
• Managing projects, developing project plans, and monitoring performance.
• Prioritizing initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
• Managing competing resources and priorities.
• Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.

• Thoroughly understand and interpret data relating to operational productivity and performance and identify initiatives to deliver increased performance and reduced costs.
• When required attend daily operational review meetings to ensure understanding of operational performance and challenges.
• Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to ethics, compliance and the Group Business Conduct Guidelines for all operations, ensuring compliance with all legal and company requirements including but not limited to Health & Safety, security, environmental
• Demonstrate a strong awareness of and commitment to Ethics and Compliance and the DCC Group Code of Conduct.

• A bachelor’s degree or relevant qualifications in business or related field
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in business analysis or a related field.
• Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine acceptable solutions.
• Advanced technical skills including SQL.
• Excellent documentation skills.
• Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
• Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
• High competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• A track record of following through on commitments.
• Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• A history of leading and supporting successful projects
• To succeed in this role you should have a natural analytical way of thinking and be able to explain difficult concepts to non-technical users.
