Plastics Extrusion Production Manufacturing Manager- Cullman

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager or Manufacturing Manager for our client's manufacturing operations located in Cullman, Alabama. Visit us at or in person at 1110 2nd Ave SW, Cullman, AL!

Required Experience:

• A seasoned and knowledgeable individual with a manufacturing background who has led in manufacturing production environments.
• Concentrate and maintain productivity in high-pressure situations, analysis, and interpretation, communication (oral and written), motivation, organization, problem-solving, supervision, interdepartmental coordination, developing group cooperation and teamwork, coping with difficulties and emergencies, promoting safety attitudes and practices, employee development and personnel practices.
• Lean Manufacturing skillsets with proven results.
• Has built cultures based on continuous improvement, benchmarking, and employee engagement.
• Previous shop floor and/or technical leadership/supervisory experience.
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong computer skills with a high level of proficiency with Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
• Lean and/or Six Sigma certification is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:4 year Degree in Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or Business.

Minimum of 5+ years experience in manufacturing management of a specified area, including manufacturing engineering, lean methods and processes, and supervision
Proven leadership performance with solid technical leadership and familiarity with systems
Strategic thinker with the ability to be hands-on in the operation.

Plastics Extrusion Experience is a plus.
