Your tasks
Description of the accounting requirements to be met in France and other reporting and Moreover, description of the resulting data
Creation of a French chart of accounts and mapping to the HGB chart of accounts in cooperation with the HGB accountant from
Determination of the general ledger and attributes
Development of business process-based posting logics and their implementation in the local core insurance system
Participation in the development and implementation of a mapping structure from French GAAP to HGB
Identification of valuation differences between French GAAP and HGB, as well as participation in the development of corresponding revaluation process
Participation in the description of a migration concept
Participation in the preparation and implementation of work on the 2023 annual financial statements (French GAAP and HGB)

Must have competences
Expert: Accounting of insurance companies in France (French GAAP) including The following French products are affected: Dommages Aux Biens, Assurance de Chantiers, RC D cennale, RC G n rale / RC Professionnelle
Experience with the creation of a French chart of accounts and mapping to a HGB chart of accounts, as well as in-depth knowledge of the characteristics and attributes required in the general
Knowledge of "Chart of accounts items" (account numbers)
In-depth knowledge of the regulatory Reporting and notification requirements in France
In-depth knowledge of the insurance related business transactions in France and their translation into data and booking processes
Knowledge / experience of accounting for insurances according to HGB
High social competence and ability to to network actively in order to achieve results of high quality together with the several business departments
Language: French and German

Nice to have competences
Experience with reconciliations between sub-ledger (core system and claims system) and general ledger (SAP-FI)
Experience with insurance related portfolio migrations
Knowledge of the SAP-FI and Winsure applications
