Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an experienced and reliable unlicensed or licensed Electrician/Solar Photovoltaic Technician. You will join our team of highly skilled engineers and technicians to fabricate, install, repair, and maintain a variety of electrical systems, including electrical panels, lighting, motor controls, and Solar Photovoltaic systems. Our ideal candidate has at least five years of professional experience, a current electrician s license, and a flexible schedule. Reliable unlicensed or Electricians are



Electrician/Solar Photovoltaic Technician Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Respond to service calls quickly and within the expected timeframe
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems
  • Discuss the request for repairs or installation and provide estimates for cost and timeline
  • Follow specifications on blueprints or technical drawings for installations
  • Perform routine maintenance on various systems as requested
  • Conduct system repairs and installations according to
  • Familiarity with PLC systems is preferred
  • Configures PV systems based on site conditions and client needs and ;
  • Inspects electrical installation and
  • Tests operating voltages and calibrates to ensure systems are within acceptable power
  • Ensures that equipment is weather
  • Performs routine maintenance on PV
  • Performs other related duties as


Pay scale: hourly


Requirements

Electrician/Solar Photovoltaic Technician Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Vocational or technical school training
  • Current apprentice/journeyman electrician license (preferred)
  • Able to read blueprints, technical drawings, and diagrams and follow specifications
  • Solid working knowledge of commercial and residential electrical systems
  • Metal working and welding experience desired
  • Fabrication and installation using hand and power tools
  • Valid drivers license
  • Able to work independently
  • Kowledge of PV equipment and installation
  • Extensive knowledge of electrical wiring and equipment
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to read equipment manuals
