ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ADMINISTRATOR(Permanent)
Our client, an established manufacturing company in Buffalo, NY, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Administrator to join their growing ;
Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day accounting, bookkeeping, and clerical functions
- Perform daily processes for accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations ensuring accuracy
- Prepare financial and statistical reports
- Update financial records in accounting software including, but not limited to, invoices, customer credits, expense reports, and receipts
- Prepare checks for payment to suppliers and track payments
- Generate invoices and mail out in a timely manner
- Maintain database of outstanding bills
- Accept all cash/checks and maintain accurate records of receipt
- Review financial reports for accuracy, reconcile errors, and report to upper management
- Run credit reports on potential customers
- Perform general clerical duties such as data entry, answering the phone, responding to emails,
- Generate weekly/monthly progress reports and post appropriately
- Complete special projects as necessary
- Other duties as assigned/as necessary
Details:
- Position is full time, direct hire
- Role is 100% in-office

- High School diploma required
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- 2+ years relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent accounting and math skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Work well under deadlines
- Great interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong organization skills and time management skills
- Self-motivated
- Relocation not available
