What you will do:
Be a member of the Field Services team at DakotaPro! DakotaPro operates a large, fixed-wireless network across the Tucson metro area as well as parts of Cochise and Santa Cruz ;The Field Services team is responsible for all facets of this ;Applicants for this position could be dispatched to any portion of the coverage area but it is expected that most of time will be spent in a defined geographic ;
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Installation, testing, turn-up and troubleshooting of wireless customer premise equipment
- Perform on-site qualifications for wireless and telecom installations
- Installation of Cat5, Cat6 structured wiring
- Plan, prepare, successfully deploy and document installations as directed
- Assist in wireless site construction and maintenance
- May be required to work some evenings and weekends
- Perform work with a high level of accuracy and
- Technically and mechanically inclined with problem solving skills
Requirements
- Basic understanding of and experience in deploying wireless technology
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS and IP schemes in a network environment
- Promptness, cleanliness, professional appearance
- Valid drivers license with excellent driving record
- Ability to create and operate in a safe work environment, and lift 50 lbs on a regular basis

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
- Must have a high school diploma or
- Basic familiarity with telco and internet terminology a plus
- Personal computer spreadsheet experience
- Comp TIA Net+ or desire to attain
- Minimum 2 years of experience

Possesses technical fluency in IPv4 sub-netting, particularly CIDR Possesses technical fluency in OSPF, BGP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree protocols Possess technical fluency in networking and systems best practices and Certification equivalence to CCNA or higher is strongly desired At least 3 years experience supporting production multi-vendor network environments Can demonstrate competency working with the following vendor platforms: Ubiquiti Mikrotik Fortinet Cisco This position sometimes requires physical exertion in remote locations with limited support infrastructure in a challenging desert environment: Must be able to lift up to 30lbs to shoulder height on a regular basis Must be able to climb a ladder and perform cabling functions (Identify, terminate, label) at arm's length Must have (or be able to acquire) a valid Arizona Driver's License and good driving Must be able to pass a criminal background check Superb English communication skills, both oral and written A professional appearance and positive attitude Bonus: have a background in RF wireless services
