Job Description
Position: Electrical Controls Engineer
Shift: 1st
Type: Full-Time | Mode: Direct Placement
Pay Scale: $70,000-75,000| Industry: Manufacturing
Position Expectations
Involved in the design of electrical and software control systems used on custom built test equipment
Support the design, documentation, assembly, integration, test and field support of industrial controls/systems
Ensure design compliance with electrical standards for world-wide installation
Develop & debug control & data acquisition programs and systems
Create functional test requirements for equipment checkout
Insure proper calibration of control system transducers

Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge of NEC electrical codes & wiring standards for industrial equipment
- Knowledge of electrical schematics, operator panel and sub-panel layouts
- Familiarity with Class I Div I, CE and ATEX requirements
- Working knowledge of PC s, Data Acquisition systems & PLC
- C/C++ or LabView programming
- Demonstrated experience with AC & DC motor controls and industrial heater circuits
- Ability to design relay ladder logic and process control instrumentation circuits
- Demonstrated knowledge of process control & measurement instrumentation and transducers
- AutoCAD experience
Highly Desirable Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kanban and 5S
- Knowledge of ISO9000 and AS9100 requirements
- Experience with 3D modeling and simulation
- Aerospace, hydraulic, pneumatic and/or machined parts manufacturing, engineering, cost, and/or procurement requirements knowledge/experience
