Job Description

We have an immediate opening for an experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee the daily operations of a well-established restaurant in Mijas. You will be responsible for the smooth running of the business, tracking inventory, ordering supplies, managing and training staff, budgeting and monitoring finances. You will speak English and Spanish fluently and have 5 years of industry experience, ideally including supervisory roles. You will be reliable and trustworthy.


Requirement


5+ years restaurant experience with a minimum of 2 years in supervisory roles

Native level English and fluent Spanish, both written and verbally

Exceptional communication skills at all levels

Ability to deliver the highest standards of customer service at all times

Hands on, dynamic manager with good leadership skills

Ability to lead by example in all areas product knowledge, consistency, presentation and quality

Flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business


Responsibilities

Recruit and supervise restaurant staff

Ensure the team is effective and productive

Staff management, appraisals, training and development plans, team building

Ensuring high standards of service, presentation and quality of products are maintained at all times

Drive and manage marketing, promotions and events

Ongoing research and customer engagement to establish and predict new market trends

Ensure the restaurant complies with all health and safety, and licensing regulations

Develop suitable strategies to grow and optimize restaurant and bar capacity

Produce and report on Cost of Sales analysis and Sales Reports

Food and beverage COS F&B shop analysis and stocktake management

Payroll management, staff and rota planning

Administration and finance management, profit and loss, occupancy and business cost tracking

Understand and work towards all growth targets for the business

Commit to demonstrating full food, wine and cocktail knowledge on offer at all times

Develop guest relationships and promote loyal customers

Accurately report on business KPIs in a timely manner as outlined by the business


Package

Permanent Spanish contract

Excellent working environment

40 hour, working days: 6 days a week, split shift: 11 am to 3 pm and 7 pm to 11 pm

Salary up to 28,000 dependent on experience
