Job Description
Urgent requirement ofSr. Software Engineer - Perm/Contract - Sydney
Requirements
- Hands on experience with network connectivity to Azure ExpressRoute
- Experience with on prem to cloud VDI replication and DR strategies Azure Site Recovery, Nutanix Cloud Connect, etc
- Experience with VMware & Hyper V technologies
- Experience with Active Directory Group Policy Design & Architecture
- Hands on experience with performance monitoring and alerting for cloudworkload instances
- Extensive experience with automation leveraging Azure CLI, PowerShell, VBS to automate and simplify tasks
- Experience on Enterprise Mobility suite
- Collaborate with operational counterparts to support and Client opportunities for improvement via automation, process improvements, etc
- Automate repetitive tasks where possible to improve service delivery and reduce operational overhead
- Develop and communicate HA/resiliency standards to ensure business and operational requirements are being met
- Good understanding of Microsoft Endpoint Manager (SCCM); designing, deploying, managing will be a plus
- Awareness of Mobile Devices management systems (Android, iOS) (Vmware Workspace One, Citrix Workspace, InTune, MobieIron)
- Understanding of Microsoft 365 products (Office365, SharePoint, EM+S, etc.)
- Experience with Citrix products (Virtual Apps, Virtual Desktops, ADC, Provisioning) will be a plus
- Very Good Communication Skills
Duration: Permanent / 6Monthsand possible extension
Eligibility:Australian/NZ Citizens/PR Holders only
Demonstrated experience in managing ICT projects using formal project management methodologies (eg. Waterfall or Agile) and/or demonstrated experience in managing large and complex IT infrastructure and cloud projects Proven experience in managing multiple tasks to challenging deadlines and adapt to changing priorities Ability to manage budget, resources, and risk to ensure the successful outcomes of projects Demonstrated experience and skills with engaging and managing ICT vendors, including approach to markets, evaluation, and delivery management Very Good Communication Skills Desirable: Project management qualifications, with a sound knowledge of techniques for establishing, planning, monitoring, and controlling major ICT projects A sound understanding of both project management methodologies (Waterfall, PMBOK) and agile frameworks (Scrum) for delivery of ICT projects Duration: 8 Months and possible extension Eligibility: Baseline Holders OR Ability to obtain Baseline Clearance
