Job Description

Medusa Construction Corp.
Business location: 14107-57A Ave, Surrey, BC, V3X 2W4
Job Title: Electricians (7241)
Vacancies: 04
Terms of employment: Full Time, Permanent
Wage Rate: $29/hour, 40hrs/week.
Work location: Various locations all over lower mainland.
Anticipated start date: as soon as possible.
Education: high school
Work experience: 3 to 4 years of experience is required.
Language: basic English
Job requirements:
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings, and building plans to determine wiring layouts.
Testing and measuring voltage, loads, ground faults.
Troubleshooting and isolating faults.
Installing, replacing and repairing electrical controls and panel boxes.
Installing surface, mount and overhead cables.
Installing underground wiring and cables.
Installing and repairing lighting fixtures and equipment, including switches and circuit breakers
Connecting power to communications equipment, signalling devices and heating and cooling systems
Renovating electrical systems in residential and commercial structures.
Conducting preventive maintenance programs.
Work site environment: Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold temperature.
Work conditions and physical capabilities: Large workload, physically demanding, Tight deadlines, Attention to detail.
