Work Location: Various locations as per companys contracts
Wage: $28.00 per hour
Anticipated start date: As soon as possible
Education: High School
Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in similar field
Language: English
Specific Skills:
Read blueprints or work order specifications to determine layout and installation procedures
Clean and prepare working area
Arrange all supplies, tools and equipment required for each drywall project
Measure, cut and fit drywall sheets for installation
Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists
Tape over joints
Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners
Mix and apply plaster
Assemble and install metal framing
Fill joints and cracks with joint compound
Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry
Use all equipment effectively, economically, safely, and for its intended use
Assist with the maintenance of equipment
Notify the Supervisor of any equipment deficiencies
Follow all safety procedures and maintain cleanliness
Essential skills:
Attention to detail, team player, dependability and reliability, judgement, client focus, flexibility
Weight Handling:
Up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
Work conditions and physical capabilities:
Physically demanding, repetitive tasks, work under pressure, standing for extending periods, bending, crouching, kneeling
