Radiologic Technologist Elkridge, MD (15 miles SW of Baltimore)
We are looking for a Radiologic Technologist to join our medical practice full time in Elkridge, MD. We are seeking a proactive and engaging Radiologic tech who is passionate about working with a best-in-class team that delivers first class medical care to individuals within the Elkridge area. Our ideal candidate is a radiologic technologist with fluoroscopy experience and preferably has at least one year experience working in a pain clinic. The main job duties include operating our fluoroscopy machine, recording patient findings/data and assisting the physician and/or the NP/PA during procedures as needed.

Duties:
Operate the fluoroscopy machine on all patient types and age groups, according to pre-established standards and protocols
Prepare each patient for all procedures by providing clear and concise instructions, position patients with care for each fluoroscopic view, move the fluoroscopy machine in appropriate position, and adjust technique based on the body part of interest and body habitus
Protect patients and employees from unnecessary radiation exposure by adhering to ALARA (As Low As Reasonably Achievable) and radiation safety (e.g., lead shielding)
Maintain equipment according to manufacturer and company policies to ensure optimal operation, such as performing quality checks and keeping records in appropriate system(s)
Assist with tasks such as managing patient flow and documentation
Work collaboratively with center staff and other team members for comprehensive patient care
Obtain, verify, and document all relevant patient information in respective systems
Assist with administration of intra-articular injections by MD, PA and/or NP
Requirements:
ARRT Licensure in Radiologic Technology or Completion of Radiologic Technology program
Active MD State Licensure in Radiologic Technology
Experience with using the fluoroscopy machine preferred
Experience working in a pain clinic a plus
Schedule:
Monday-Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM
Salary (range):
$30-36/hour
