Embedded Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Mission

• Realize projects from design to implementation to integration testing
• Extend the Java application running on embedded Android using state of the art secure communication channels to the backend as well as low level interfaces to electric vehicles
• Implement both customer facing features as well as standard communication protocols
• Resolve problems, including simple bug fixes, design corrections and architectural modifications
• In addition to the option of working from home, regular meetings with your team in the Berlin office

Your profile

• A degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited university or college
• You are a passionate Java developer and working in a Linux environment makes you feel at home
• Proficient in embedded programming and thinking in state machines
• A good knowledge of design patterns and development principles
• An excellent systemic view and adapt to existing architectures with ease
• You are a team player and have a great sense of responsibility
• Advanced communication skills in English (and optionally in German), written and spoken
• Basic knowledge in the field of electrical engineering is an advantage
