Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Backend Engineer to join our core product software development team.
Tasks
- Partner with product leads and engineers to develop reliable and well-tested backend software
- Deploy regular code releases to production and test environments
- Create and maintain backend applications and systems
- Work on our Ad Server and Analytics distributed systems to crunch billions of requests every day
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in Software Engineering
- Excellent proven knowledge of Python
- The knowledge of a lower-level language such as C/C++/Cython/Java is a plus
- Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Familiarity with Distributed Systems
- Experience writing unit and integration tests
- Good level of English, Italian is a plus
- You are comfortable working independently while functioning as part of a dynamic team that values collaboration, dialogue, development, learning, and growth
- You care about solving big, systemic problems. You look beyond the surface to understand root causes so that you can build long-term solutions for the whole ecosystem
- You are a person open to developing new ideas and contributing expertise, who enjoys challenges, seeks knowledge, and is a team builder
