Job Description
Our client is a rapidly growing designer and manufacturer of SMT products with a very modern state-of-the-art facility near Springfield, Illinois. The Quality Manager will plan, coordinate, and direct quality assurance programs designed to ensure the continuous production of products consistent with established standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to ISO standards.
- Leads all ISO certification activities and ensures all ISO documentation is kept current.
- Designs and implements quality control training programs for all employees.
- Participates in Continuous Improvement activities.
- Oversees supplier quality program.
- Ensures that all customer issues are addressed promptly and thoroughly.
- Ensures that all quality department personnel are performing routine quality checks on every actively manufactured part number.
- Analyzes any shortcomings to the quality of parts manufactured and develops a plan to overcome the shortcomings and ensure the plan is executed.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate will have a BS degree plus 5-10 years of progressive manufacturing management experience in an ISO environment.
- Electronic manufacturing experience a plus.
