Job Description

A nationwide collections law firm is seeking an attorney to handle civil litigation duties on Nevada files.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:


The ability to manage a case from complaint to satisfaction. These responsibilities include reviewing correspondence, reviewing files to determine whether they are suit-appropriate, review of answers, preparing and drafting discovery and dispositive motions, and all aspects of conducting trial. In addition, the attorney is knowledgeable in post-judgment remedies, including attachment and garnishment. The candidate should be familiar with state and federal consumer laws and keep abreast of state or local rules changes.




Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:


  • JD and bar admission in Nevada
  • 1 to 3 years of experience as a civil or criminal litigation attorney or judicial clerkship The ability to work independently and manage shifting priorities in a fast-paced, results-driven environment


Preferred:


  • Experience in creditor s rights litigation
  • Multistate bar admissions
