3. Summary of the opportunity
Client Overview: Our client is a technology company in need of a MidLevel Attorney to support their high volume U.S. business immigration operations and ensure legal compliance.
Role Summary: As a MidLevel Attorney you will be responsible for reviewing nonimmigrant and immigrant visa filings conducting legal research and ensuring legal accuracy and quality in daily workflow targets. Your work will contribute to high volume U.S. business immigration operations and legal compliance.
4. What are the key responsibilities
Responsibilities and Duties:
Review nonimmigrant and immigrant visa filings.
Maintain integrity of the onsite case preparation program.
Train admins on USCIS filings document processing and PERM job postings.
Assist with daily admin questions and review work product for legal accuracy and quality.
Assist with root cause analysis and resolution for legal and operational issues.
Propose legal process improvement ideas to increase legal quality and improve workflow.
Complete remote and onsite legal review of filings.
Address legal questions related to I9 completion and EVerify.
Support complex EVerify issue resolution.
Train and monitor admins who support I9 reverification.
Assist managers with understanding PERM requirements during applicant review.
Respond to emails from visa dependent employees on various topics.
5. What experience are we looking for to drive success
MUSTHave Skills and Qualifications:
1 year of immigration experience (business or familybased).
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a credible university.
Admission to the bar.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Experience in employmentbased immigration.
