Job Description

IDEAL CANDIDATE


- PhD in Law with 15+ Years of post PhD experience in teaching

- Currently working as a Dean / Associate Dean in a reputed Law college

- Good Management and communication skills

ORGANISATION

ROLE:

The prime role of the Dean is to provide strong academic leadership.
  • The Dean is required to lead, manage and develop the Institute to ensure it achieves the highest possible standards of academic excellence in all its activities Maintain the general discipline of the students and staff.
  • To oversee the smooth functioning of the institute and ensuring consistent provision for academic ambiance
  • To manage and motivate all Institutional staff, to enable the students to receive skilled education in the subject, in a positive, encouraging and effective working environment.
  • To prepare Academic Planner yearly in consensus with the Director of the Institute & implement it efficiently & effectively together.
  • To review & check Academic Diary, Teacher Diary & Accountability register on a daily basis.
  • To oversee the smooth functioning of the skill development cell of the institute.
  • To ensure that salary statement of the institute in timely forwarded to HR department & proper records are maintains of leaves etc.
  • To ensure that the faculties are provided with all staff welfare measures including annual performance appraisal for motivation of the staff.
  • Reviewing the Institute policies, procedures, and recommendations for appointment, salary, retention, tenure, and /or promotion of faculty, and ensuring that all policies are implemented.
  • To Appoint Academic coordinators, Batch Coordinators & SDC coordinators with the help of Director & guide them to perform well.
  • To ensure that the Institute creates legacy of Academic Events by having huge Participation from across the borders
  • To Appoint Research & Publication Coordinators, & NAAC Coordinators in consensus with the Director of the Institute.
  • To ensure 75% attendance of students or as per the norms of concerned university or IIQA decision.
  • To Tie -ups and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with top notch companies for trainings, internships& placements.
  • To make the various Ties ups with foreign university for enrichment of Global Education of students.
  • To ensure the recruitment of staff as per the need of institute time to time.
  • To ensure students are provided with holistic development by providing them with various Certification Programs, Training, and Workshop in consensus with the Director of the Institutes.
