Job Description
This is a remote position.
ITTConnect is seeking a Performance Test Engineer with experience in the Financial Services / Banking / Payments industry to join our team. Our client is a major IT Consulting firm with HQ in Europe, offices in 15 countries and over 10k employees, they are experts in tailored Applications Services to Banks, Insurance and Industry clients.
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a multi-year green field implementation of a new core banking and payments platform for one of the largest banks in the world. Job is fully remote and will be interacting with a distributed team in the US, Europe and Latin America.
Job Location: Remote. Must be in CST or EST.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test automation software test tools ( Karate , Rest Assured)
- Develop and perform performance tests using tools like Blazemeter
- Estimate test accurately and coordinate with team members for work activities.
- Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automated testing frameworks.
- Analyze and verify best automated and manual test approaches
- Involve in product design to guarantee adherence of test coverage for meeting end user requirements.
- Design use cases and test cases outlining application work flow.
- Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects.
- Prepare software defect tracking and report entire project release status to stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8-10 years of QA / Testing experience
- 2+ years of experience writing automation scripts in one or more programming languages
- Must have experience in banking domain
- Strong experience with performance testing
- Ability to dig deeper into test failures and work with developers to identify a root cause
- Experience with SOAPUI, Postman, Selenium, Mockito, JUnit 4, Cucumber, Balzemeter
- Hands on in REST API Testing
- Experience in Requirement analysis, Test cases design Test Execution
- Excellent Database skills
- Ability to dig deeper into test failures and work with developers to identify a root cause
- Experience with agile methodologies
- Nice to have experience working in consulting firms
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or similar
