Automated QA

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong technical skillset to play an important role in our technical consulting services business. You will be using your skills and expertise to help improve the test coverage and quality assurance process for our customers software solutions, collaborating in an agile working environment with software engineers, UX designers, and product owners.

TheAutomated QA must:

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
  

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts
  

• Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
  

• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
  

• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing features to meet client needs
  

• Monitor debugging process results
  

• Track quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
  

• Stay up to date with new testing tools and test strategies
  

Requirements

Ideally, the Automated QA should have:

• 2+ years of experience working in QA automation
  

• Experience in developing automated test cases in at least one programming language (JavaScript/PHP/Python)
  

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance, especially web applications
  

• Hands-on experience with automated testing tools (Selenium/Cypress/Cucumber/Behat)
  

• Knowledge in common web application technologies
  

• Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  

• Experience in documenting test cases
  

• Strong working knowledge / fluency in oral English
  

• Not essential but useful to have knowledge of other types of non-functional testing in web applications (security/accessibility/usability/performance/etc).
