As a Recruiter you will be responsible for staffing and recruitment and performs activities relating to the employment function of Human Resources.
1. Create and maintain internal job postings; prepare and place employment ads for on-line and print.
2. Respond to candidates who request information and/or applications. Acknowledge applications from candidates and sends denial letters to candidates not hired.
3. Maintain applicant tracking logs and retain applications as appropriate.
4. Review and screen applications, phone screens candidates, and conduct interviews. Schedules interviews for appropriate candidates with the hiring supervisors.
5. Conduct pre-employment inquiries: credit reports, checks for bondability, verification of prior employment, and criminal records checks. Reviews results of pre-employment inquiries to ensure they match the information provided by the applicant, and resolves any discrepancies.
6. Make offers to candidates, and creates and sends hire letters.
7. Complete designated tasks on checklists relating to new hires, terminations and transfers.
8. Develop and maintains relationships with recruiting sources. Develop new sources of qualified applicants.
9. Completes and distributes the Monthly Turnover Report and Month End Staffing Report.
11. Communicate with managers on the progress of new hires within the first 30 days and documents results.
13. Assists Training Manager in preparation of manuals, handouts, and presentation materials for Welcome Week and other training programs
