Project Architect

Top ENR firm is looking to add a Project Architect to their Fort Worth, Texas office!

Responsibilities:

• Respond to project/program requirements with senior staff
  
• Research/implement jurisdictional zoning, site planning and building codes
  
• Implement all applicable codes/regulations
  
• Ensure project is compliant with codes/regulations
  
• Monitor work progress and keep senior staff informed
  
• Prepare design drawings, models and/or specifications
  
• Integrate architectural design/models with structural, mechanical and electrical systems
  
• Prepare architectural detailing requisite to project document production
  
• Attend meetings and contribute to technical discussions
  
• Submit required documents for plan review/permitting
  
• Respond to plan review comments, construction submittals and requests for information
  
• Understand project budgets, schedules and contracts
  
• Travel to job sites as needed
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor s degree in Architecture
  
• Registered Architectural License
  
• 5+ years of professional experience
  
• 8+ years of hands-on production experience
  
• Intermediate hand sketching experience
  
• Building Codes experience
  
• Advanced Construction Detailing/Construction Specifications
  
• Industrial Warehouse/Distribution experience (IMP Wall, Freezer, Cooler or Cross-Dock Facilities)
  
• LEED AP, NCARB preferred
  
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
  
• PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings) experience preferred
