Top ENR firm is looking to add a Project Architect to their Fort Worth, Texas office!
Responsibilities:
- Respond to project/program requirements with senior staff
- Research/implement jurisdictional zoning, site planning and building codes
- Implement all applicable codes/regulations
- Ensure project is compliant with codes/regulations
- Monitor work progress and keep senior staff informed
- Prepare design drawings, models and/or specifications
- Integrate architectural design/models with structural, mechanical and electrical systems
- Prepare architectural detailing requisite to project document production
- Attend meetings and contribute to technical discussions
- Submit required documents for plan review/permitting
- Respond to plan review comments, construction submittals and requests for information
- Understand project budgets, schedules and contracts
- Travel to job sites as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Architecture
- Registered Architectural License
- 5+ years of professional experience
- 8+ years of hands-on production experience
- Intermediate hand sketching experience
- Building Codes experience
- Advanced Construction Detailing/Construction Specifications
- Industrial Warehouse/Distribution experience (IMP Wall, Freezer, Cooler or Cross-Dock Facilities)
- LEED AP, NCARB preferred
- Proficient in Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- PEMB (Pre-Engineered Metal Buildings) experience preferred
