Job Description
Leading design firm in Indiana has an opening for a Surveyor/Project Managerin their Indianapolis Office. This is a great opportunity!
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for project delivery to clients
- Coordinate project to meet client expectations
- Mentor/train junior staff
- Delegate duties
- Ensure QA/QC standards are met to deliver a quality survey design product
- Direct/perform office professional survey services
- Prepare required information for field services
- Responsibilities include more traditional Project Surveyor tasks as well (boundary, ALTA, topographic surveys)
- Duties include research, drafting, boundary analysis and legal description writing
- Project management/coordination (schedules/budgets/billings)
Requirements:
- B.S. in Survey or Civil Engineering
- 5+ years of experience
- Licensed Professional Surveyor
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office
- Experience with Carlson Survey or Trimble Business Center preferred
- Knowledge of Public Land Survey System and jurisdictional subdivision requirements
- Knowledge of industry standards/procedures
