Summary:
We are looking for someone who will conduct foundational research and literature reviews to examine assumptions and lay the groundwork for new products
Responsibilities:
- Plan, observe, and moderate concept testing sessions, interviews, and diary studies with guidance from a senior UXR.
- Coordinate user study logistics (collaborate with participant recruiters, schedule interviews and lab sessions, distribute incentives)
- Analyze and interpret both qualitative and quantitative data
- Synthesize insights and create research reports
- Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders
Skills/ Education/ Experience:
- B.A./B.S. (completed) or M.A/M.S./M.Des./Ph.D. in Human Factors, HCI, Design, Product Development, Psychology, Anthropology, Linguistics, Computer Science, Social Science, or other field emphasizing human behavior
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
- Experience with a range of qualitative research methods and analysis techniques
- Ability to translate research findings into actionable, persuasive insights for the product team
- Experience crafting and communicating research findings through appropriate means
- Detail-oriented; ability to work fairly independently on a variety of tasks
- Gets things done: Ability to meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work on schedule
