Position Overview:
We are looking for a motivated and analytical Growth Equity Associate to join our investment team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in sourcing evaluating and managing investment opportunities as well as supporting portfolio companies in their growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Investment Analysis: Conduct comprehensive financial modeling valuation analyses and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Market Research: Perform indepth market research to identify trends competitive landscapes and growth potential for target companies.
- Deal Sourcing: Assist in sourcing new investment opportunities through networking industry research and outreach.
- Portfolio Management: Support portfolio companies by analyzing performance metrics identifying areas for improvement and collaborating with management teams on strategic initiatives.
- Investment Committee Preparation: Prepare investment memos and presentations for the investment committee clearly articulating the investment thesis and potential risks.
- Collaboration: Work closely with senior team members on various projects providing insights and recommendations based on data analysis and market trends.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Finance Business Economics or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 24 years of relevant experience in investment banking private equity growth equity or management consulting.
- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills with proficiency in Excel and financial analysis.
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with a detailoriented mindset.
- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
- Selfstarter with a strong work ethic and a passion for the growth equity space.
