Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience as a payroll specialist;
- Knowledge of different payroll software and benefits distribution;
- Thorough understanding of payroll best practices and accounting principles;
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, etc.);
- Good analytical and research skills;
- Degree in Accounting would be an advantage;
- xperience with schedules and calculation of cumulative hours (total hours) is a plus.
About the position:
- Establishes, maintains, and evaluates accounting and payroll processing systems to guarantee the prompt and accurate processing of all payroll-related transactions, including salaries, benefits, taxes, and other deductions;
- Ensures that all payroll alterations, such as new hires, terminations, and pay rate changes, are processed accurately and quickly;
- Creates and maintains proper payroll transaction records and reports.
