Position: Enterprise Architect

Job Responsibilities:

1. Must have breadth of knowledge across all technology areas (Middleware, Integration, Data, security, DevOps, Cloud, AI/ML etc.) at architecture / design level

2. Define scope, estimate resource needed, develop a roadmap, define KPI’s and metrices.

3. Business Architecture: Defining the business strategy, governance, organization, and key business processes of the organization.

4. Develop the baseline business architecture (bottom up from existing, top down for new) & identify the gaps between baseline & target.

5. Application Architecture: Able to provide a blueprint for the individual systems to be deployed, the interactions between the application systems, and their relationships to the core business processes of the organization with the frameworks for services to be exposed as business functions for integration.

6. Information System Architectures: Understand LTC business processes, existing Digital Applications landscape, identify gaps, and propose solution approach for cloud automation.

7. Technology Architecture: Select relevant technology viewpoints to be used. Identify appropriate tools & techniques for capturing, modelling, analyzing, & documenting the architecture.

8. Experience in migration planning: Experience in working with workloads & processes for potential migration to the cloud. Able to select an appropriate database, data & server migration mechanism.

9. Able to determine a new cloud architecture for any existing solutions.

10. Able to determine a strategy for migrating existing on-prem workloads to cloud.

11. Handling Architecture Change Management: Able to influence business projects to exploit the enterprise architecture for value realization.

12. Continuous Improvement for existing LTC Digital solutions: Able to troubleshoot existing solutions architectures, determine a strategy to improve an existing solution for operational excellence.

Required knowledge, skills, and abilities:

1. 15-20 years of overall work experience with 8+ years as solution architect and at least 5 years as enterprise architect.

2. Experience in architecting solutions for both on-prem & cloud (AWS, AZURE, GCP). Experience with Microsoft ADF, Spark, Databricks is of an advantage.

3. Strong knowledge of container technology such as Docker or Kubernetes and others

4. Have at least 5+ years of experience designing cloud infrastructure, commercial/enterprise products, and platform as a service with container orchestration

5. Hands-on & familiarity with tools needed for architecting a solution.

6. Lean six sigma certification (Black belt) or TOGAF equivalent practical knowledge and experience is preferred.

7. Must have excellent Knowledge in Agile implementation.

8. Have design and deployment of global, highly available, large enterprise and commercial scale cloud infrastructure

9. Have advanced knowledge of cloud and physical/virtual infrastructure concepts, technologies and patterns. Have experience deploying and using Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) and Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS)

10. Experience in working within manufacturing domain – understanding typical OT and IT components of manufacturing operations, their architectures and data structures: MES, CMMS, PLC, DCS, SCADA, HMI, ERP, Asset Management and similar.

11. Experience with advanced analytics and machine learning disciplines like model development, training, validation and deployment

12. Competency in Graph/NoSQL database techniques, and RDBS platforms like MS SQL Server, Postgres etc
