The Senior Training Specialist is responsible for supporting the goals and activities of the Firm s Technology Learning & Development team. General responsibilities include developing, implementing, and delivering training programs for all attorneys and staff, and preparing written and electronic training materials to supplement classroom instruction.This position conducts instructor-led training for new hires; delivers applications training via classroom, e-learning & remote (virtual) platforms; designs and develops instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning curriculum and content; schedules and implements training programs that are comprehensive, well-prepared and educationally sound.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Works closely with the Training Manager to develop, implement and deliver training programs and acts as team lead providing guidance to training specialists.
- Serves as training team lead for TIS projects related to testing and piloting new and updated applications.
- Reviews courseware, test plans, e-learning modules, and other work product developed by training specialists and other members of the training team.
- Generates and distributes various learning management system (LMS) reports, including annual LMS report and accompanying documentation for development of the Georgia Retraining Tax Credit submission.
- Reviews project plans for completeness.
- Implements training programs for all attorneys and staff and prepares written and electronic training materials to supplement classroom instruction.
- Conducts instructor-led training for new hires.
- Delivers applications training via classroom, e-learning and remote (virtual) platforms.
- Schedules and implements comprehensive, well-prepared and educationally sound training programs.
- Anticipates and foresees Firm technology training needs and works with manager to research and design effective programs.
- Develops, writes and maintains reference materials for training.
- Develops e-learning modules to demonstrate technology use.
- Develops and facilitates skills assessments to measure ability to perform.
- Maintains and updates the Firm s learning management system (LMS).
- Develops, updates, and provides orientation training on current Windows, Microsoft Office and other Firm-related software, in collaboration with the Human Resources Department.
- Develops technology test plans and performs technology testing, on an as needed basis, with the guidance and support of Firm leadership and department managers and directors.
- Provides technical support firm-wide as needed.
- Other duties and tasks as assigned by supervisors.
