Job Description
East Bay-based client is seeking a temporary Payroll Specialist to assist with the payroll operation needs of the organization. This is an on-site position with a pay rate between $30-$32, depending upon relevant experience. For further information regarding this position, please attach your resume.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process bi-weekly payroll and maintain vacation accrual, confirm payrolldeductions, and review timecards
- Maintain payroll deductions, on vacation, benefits, and sick time as required
- Ensure the organization’s compliance with federal, state, and local hour and payroll wage laws
- Provide supportfor annual audit processes as needed
- Monitor hours reported through timesheet tracking and/or time and attendance
- Other duties as assigned
- 1-3 years of experience in payroll processing or related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Experience using ADP required
- Experience with time and attendance required
- Experience using Excel (entry to mid-level)
