Job Description

Petroleum Construction Foreman/Crew Leader


We are the New England and Mid-Atlantic regions leading service provider of comprehensive petroleum, sales, maintenance, inspection, testing and construction management services to major oil suppliers, independent retailers (gas stations), contractors and other public sector facilities from Maine to Georgia

Petroleum Foreman: Leading a construction team

MDE UST Certification required; certifications in GA desired

Ability to lead construction team

Ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously

Mathematical aptitude

Experience calculating material needs (piping, concrete, aggregates, etc.) as well as familiarity with petroleum parts

Experience with all facets of fuel system construction (excavation, grading, shoring, trenching, demo of asphalt & concrete, tank removals, tank closures-in-place, tank top upgrades, piping, setting & securing equipment, etc.)

Ability to read blueprints

Ability to recognize once on site if existing conditions will require work outside the written scope from the bid and work with project management to price change order

Ability to direct subcontractors when onsite

Excellent troubleshooting abilities

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Able to operate a 90lb jack hammer throughout the work schedule

  • Familiar with computer operations with an aptitude for learning computer skills.

  • Ability to learn safe operation of industry specific tools and equipment.

  • Must be eligible to work in the United States

  • Clean driving record and the ability to work safely is a MUST

  • At least 5 yrs experience in the installation of UST/AST fueling systems

  • Experience in operating heavy equipment
