Our client is a company, active in the design, construction, and manufacture of high-tech machines for the maintenance, renewal, and measurement of railways all over the world, they wish to strengthen their production department and are looking for anIndustrialization & Methods Manager.
Responsibilities:
- In charge of industrialization engineering in collaboration with the Technical Office.
- Responsible for the continuous improvement of the different areas of the plant in collaboration with the Production Manager.
- Ensure coordination between Production and the Technical Office regarding standardization, modularization, and variants.
- Responsible for the methods and scheduling services including the management of the M-BOM (Manufacturing bill of material) nomenclature and production ranges.
- Responsible for production planning and in charge of the factory layout strategy to be able to respond to it.
- Active participation in the Make or Buy strategy and outsourcing.
Requirements
- Engineering degree or equivalent.
- 5 years experience as a manager in the field of methods and industrialization.
- Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent capacity for abstraction and multidisciplinary and transversal reflection.
- Critical and constructive spirit oriented towards improving productivity and quality.
- Excellent writing skills in French and English, and German will be an asset.
