Technical Project Manager

• This role has overall responsibility for infrastructure/network projects from initiation right through to implementation.
  
• Telecom experience is a necessity
  
• Successful and timely delivery of all phases of the program/projects from concept through to BAU transition.
  
• To monitor overall project progress proactively, resolving risks and issues and initiating corrective action plans as appropriate.
  
• To act as the central point of liaison, communications and coordination between technical teams and other stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  
• To maintain overall control and accountability for the schedule and the delivery of expected deliverables.
  
• To demonstrate knowledge of the underlying technology stack and supported/related business area.
  
• To manage programmed/project financials, including estimates and spend.
  
• To build and maintain effective relationships with partners across Technology, Operations and Product.
  
• Proactively identify issues, risks, dependencies and assumptions to ensure accurate planning.
  
• Strong Stakeholder management
  
• Constant vendor and partner engagement to agree a project implementation plan.
  
• Work closely with teams across the business IT, Operations, BI, Network, Product, Mediation, Online, Pricing & Proposition, Business Development & Marketing, Customer Services.
  
• Manage internal and external project meetings.
  
• Vendor & stakeholder management.
  

Requirements

• Degree in Electronics & Communications, ten years working experience in telecom, broadcasting or IT domain.
  
• Should have minimum five years experience managing global infrastructure projects such as Data center, IT infrastructure projects consisting of all business-critical systems in the project manager role.
  
• Strong Project Management (PMP or Prince2)
  
• Experience in Agile project management methodologies
  
• Exposure to telecom networks and infrastructure will be an asset.
  
• Experience in management of application development projects, stakeholder engagements from requirements analysis through development, testing and delivery.
  
• Experience in a Telecom Service Provider or Mobile Network Operator environment will be an asset
  
• Strong understanding of System and SW development life cycle (SDLC) management process.
  
• Strong understanding of infrastructure and networks will be an asset
  
• Experience of building successful delivery teams (under matrix management)
  
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) are critical
